Tanya Moore is the Chief Licensing Officer of Sonos. In this role, Tanya helps the company leverage its extensive intellectual property portfolio to advance corporate strategy.
Tanya brings more than two decades in intellectual property and business development experience at IBM and Microsoft. In various executive roles at Microsoft, Tanya led strategic IP deals, built licensing programs, helped launch Microsoft's first patent litigations, and drove acquisitions and partnerships through M&A and IP asset licensing. At IBM, Tanya began as an operating systems and supercomputing platform programmer before transitioning to the company’s IP group, handling multi-million to multi-billion dollar transactions.
Tanya serves on the Board of Governors for Certified Licensing Professionals (CLP). She is a past board member of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) and the LES Foundation, and is a past president and chair of the board of LES USA-Canada.
