Dan is a Director within Microsoft’s Enterprise Chief Technology Office, where he collaborates with enterprise-class customers to help them build first-movers advantage, shape their future, and digitally transform their businesses via pre-release access to emerging technologies. Before that, he served as the Director of Intellectual Property for Microsoft's Professional Services division, managing contract negotiations for non-standard and complex intellectual property transactions worldwide.
Prior to Microsoft Dan spent time working within the intellectual property litigation and transactions practices of an international law firm and writing code for one of the world’s most popular international sports media properties. He holds a BA in Economics from Pacific Lutheran University, a JD from the Gonzaga University School of Law, admission to the Washington State Bar Association, and is a Certified Licensing Professional.
